Hi.

The first BARTG Sprint 75 contest takes place on September 19th 2010. It
covers all the usual HF bands and the time are from 1700 until 2100z. As the
name implies this is a 75 Baud contest. BARTG ran a preliminary contest
earlier this year in June. This was such a success that we are making
provision for two 75 Baud Sprints in the year's calendar. The second Sprint
75 will be on April 30th 2011.
It really is quite simple to change speed these days, and you will find
that the Q rate is very high using this speed, as high as 5 per minute. If
you are running N1MM with MMTTY, just alter the baud rate within MMTTY and
that really is all there is to it. You may find that you will have to change
a few macros.
Full rules can be found on the BARTG web site, www.bartg.org.uk.
I have lots of antenna work to do if I am to compete in the September test,
but will try my best to be there. Look forward to seeing you on my screen.

73 de Roger, G3LDI BARTG Chairman.
