Surprised he hasn't been given an honourary M3 licence by now in keeping 
with the society he's patron of.

He wouldn't even have to suffer the indignity of sitting an FL exam as
BR68 says the licencee should hold either ... or any other qualification
recognised by the secratary of state.

Guess those qualifications could easily be being the Queen's Consort or
a PhD in something RF related ? (Hows about an NVQ in flower arranging ?)

Hmmm, I can't help but feel that on some of those listed he was fully
aware of what he was saying - I'd go as far as saying that I think I understand
his sense of humour.

Some of the others are probably media distortions, why let facts get in the
way of a good story ?

Besides I'm sure Phil wouldn't really say such daft things in front of 
foreign savages in case he got thrown in the cooking pot ;-)
