hi all
the aapra sponsored rose net north of newcastle leaves a lot to be
desired...with so many rose nodes out of commission or intermittantly in
operating it could hardly be called a net at all.
if node managers don't perform they should be replaced.
if this is not a viable aapra should recall its equipment and give it to
amateurs that are interested....they should then give it to interested
clubs and amateurs ....the ones who want to see a a useful packet system....
the past policy of support for rose should be dropped and extended to all
protocols and to any club who wants to expand and update the packet net.
