 Hi
You could write to the War Office. The Commonwealth Commission
War Graves Dept has a good Web site on the Internet, you type in
the name and a list is presented, you travel from there.

Before my Mum died we researched her Father's brother Billy
Ferguson who at age 14 joined the First World War Volunteers from
Belfast. My Grandfather had got word that Billy had been captured
and was buried along the banks of the Euphrates under the shadow of the Pyramids.

The commonwealth War Graves Commission Web site indicated there was a
Billy Ferguson commemorated on the The Gates of the Bagdad North
Cemetry. Many of the young volunteers didn't give real names and
travelled to other parts of UK to jopin up in their fervour.

Does anyone know about the assited travel scheme to visit and pay
respects as mentioned on the World/Radio 4 schedule this last week.
