The IC-703 is the "shooting star" among the commercially made radios,
in the kit department the "Sparrow 40m" made a bold jump forward. The
FT-817's big lead ahead of the "pursuer" K2 shrunk a little compared
with the previous OQRPC, HW-9 and Sierra fell back smomewhat. Continuity
prevails. Not bad, especially on the part of home made equipment.
More detailed descriptions of home brew rigs along with your log are very
welcome. Thanks!
