5th I QRP CLUB HF MARATHON 2004
To keep up QRP traffic, the I QRP club organises the 2004 5th I QRP CLUB
HF Marathon.
PARTICIPANTS : all Italian and non Italian OM/SWL may take part in it.
DATE: all June weekends starting from Saturday 14.00 UT until Sunday 22.00
UT.
BANDS AND MODES : All HF bands, WARC included. Modes valid are 2 x AM - 2
x CW - 2 x SSB and 2 x RTTY.
SCORING: QSOs between QRP and QRO stations counts for 1 point, QSOs
between QRP and QRP stations counts for 2 points while QSOs between either
QRP or QRO stations with I QRP CLUB memebers counts for 3 points. For I
QRP stations only, the final score is given by the sum of all QSOs.
I QRP club stations will give their membership number which must be
registered in the correspondent’s log.
A QSO can be repeated in the same day provided it is done on different
bands (i.e. a qso on 7mhz ssb is not to be repeated on 7mhz ce in the same
day, but can be done again on 3,5 mhz either sssb or cw).
SWL head with QRP stations counts for 1 point, heard with I QRP club
stations counts for 2 points, for the same station, a maximum of 5 HRD is
permitted for each day either it is calling or replying.
LOGS: to be valid logs must contain, date, time (utc), QRG, mode, call
sign, RST report, I QRP club membership number and the claimed final score
specifying if the station has worked QRO or QRP.
Logs must be sent not later than Sept the 30th 2004 via surface mail to:

sign as a title for the file attachment.
SCORE LIST AND PRIZES: there will be 4 score lists QRO,QRP,SWL, I QRP
CLUB. The first 3 station of each score list will be awarded.
