Greetings to QRP fans - there are some HF QRP activities in various forms
being followed here in Western Australia and recently I managed to get a
Hamfest acquired Xtal locked QRP Transceiver working on the 80Mx band -

So far however we have not been able to locate the original source of the
MRS-1 PCB or circuit information other than the name may be associated
with an Internet site of "Mountain Radio Service" located in New Zealand -

The PCB has a well marked component layout with the only Identification
being "MRS-1 Jan 1985" and it appears to have been produced commercially
possibly in a Kit format or fully assembled that could be installed into a
suitable case with four switched channel crystals ordered to suit -

There are two MRF-475 Transistors in the PA stage & the IF frequency is
10.7MHz & most of the Transistors are marked as being of RCA manufacture -

If anyone has used or knows of this HF QRP Transceiver we would appreciate
any circuit or Internet Site information - Thanks & Best Wishes -
