Dear OM

I would like to experiment trying to build a SSB generator for a QRP TX,
but the problem is about buildind a ladder xtal filter to eliminate one
of the two side bands, so if carrier is 455KHz, what xtal (frequency)
should I use to eliminate, for example, 453Khz (LSB) ????

I have been looking for some info in Internet and I found that the
capacitors which are connected between each Xtal to ground fit the
bandwidth, but my doubt is the frequency of the xtals and how get a ladder
xtal filter center for a frequency, for example if I want to TX in USB,
a filter centered in 456KHz (USB)

Many tks.
