We expected the K2 in top position this time. But it still is sharing the
second place still behind the leading QRP+ with the Sierra, which has been
the most used "real" QRP rig, just in front of the HW-9.
The HW-8 dropped back. But the "methusalem" HW-7 had a double entry, which
could not be managed by many of those new monobanders like Ten-Tec 1340 etc.,
which often appears in advertising and articles but not so often on the air.
A consequence of the present dollars exchange rate ? This might also be the
reason for the succes of the "german creatives" like DL9QM ("Mini"), the
QRP-14 crew from Ulm, DJ3KK with his ELBCs and DL5JYN with the QRP-3.
Again the different "Argonauts" are making clear the contribution and merits
of Ten-Tec to QRP.
And the species HB = homebrewing in its variety is alive as before.
