Dear K2 builders and ops,
Yesterday i have made an all-band pwr test with my K2.
Conds: U=13.2 volts under load, Dummy 50 ohms, PWR set to max.,mode
CW,voltmeter DMM with 10Mohm/V.
Band Volts on Dummy Pwr=U^2/100
1830 kHz 34.7 12.0
3650 kHz 35.6 12.7
7050 kHz 35.6 12.7
10125 kHz 35.1 12.3
14175 kHz 35.0 12.3
18100 kHz 34.5 11.9
21225 kHz 32.2 10.4
24940 kHz 26.9 7.2
28500 kHz 20.2 4.1
29500 kHz 18.0 3.2
The difference on 12 and 10 meters results of the "T2 problem", the winding of
this transformer in the PA stage.
So you can use these values for comparison. I will also transmit them to the
elecrafters by email.
