3 DAYS IN BADROCK
It was on Friday when I rode into Badrock a desperado hangout and
a Town many never returned from. I entered from the North, was tired
and wanted a bath, a room and something to eat. I looked at my old
watch and saw that it was 5 minutes passed 3 pm. It was hot and dusty.
I entered the Old Rattlesnake Saloon.
I ordered some Beans and a pitcher of beer.
I then had a conversation with Bald Bill the owner who was 6 feet 7"
Later I played some cards. Won 1 Golden Eagle, and at 11 pm went
to my rented room in a Clapboard Hotel.
I stayed a total of 3 days in Badrock.
I bought 4 sticks of Chewing Tabacco , then rode slowly South,
passed Boot Hill and left Badrock.
It was on Friday when I left.
How can that be folks ???
