This is instruction for replacement of the SCS USB driver version 2.6.00 with
version 2.8.24.0 for the NEW SCS modems, including the P4 Dragon as well
as the existing SCS Pactor modems.

One is for a 32 bit machine (86), and the other for a 64 bit machine (64).
Below
are the links for both.

64 bit Windows operating system:

32 Bit operating system:

http://siriuscyber.net/sailmail/SCS%20USB%20drivers%20%282.08.24%29-x86.exe

PLEASE FOLLOW EXACTLY after you obtain the file:

To wipe out the existing driver, plug in the modem and open the Device Manager
(in the Conrol Panel), then find the modem under "ports." right-click and
select "Uninstall" and also check the box that says "also delete the files".

This is important.

Then disconnect and reconnect the modem to verify that it cannot find the
drivers.

Then disconnect again, run the driver-installer, and plug the modem back in.

You will have to then restart the computer.

To insure you have version 2.8.24.0, you can go back into the Device Manager,
right click and go to "Properties" and see it there.

Thanks to Jim Corenman for making this easy install process available.
