Notes of interest:
HH - Manfred/DK1BT, Hans/DL7CM, Juergen/DL7UFN and Sid/DM2AYO will
operate as 4V200YH (Four Victor Two Hunderd Years of Haiti) from
Haiti (NA-096) from 28 January until 15 February. They will have
three stations active on 160-6 metres CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK and SSTV.

T33- BANABA ISLAND (Update). An international team of 20 operators will
be active as T33C during the first two weeks of April 2004 (April
4-16th). They will have 6 HF stations on the air (3 CW and 3 SSB),
plus a separate 6 meter/AO-40 and separate HF digital mode station.
Activity will be on 160-6 meters, satellite, CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK and
some SSTV. They have arranged a suitable vessel named "Te Toobe" to
take the equipment and them safely to and from Banaba Island (a 2
day trip from Tarawa, Kiribati). The T33C license and landing
permission has been granted. Operators are:Frank/DL4KQ, Greg/DF2IC,
Bernd/DL5OAB, Rob/PA5ET, Ronald/PA3EWP, Alan/AD6E, Bill/AK0A,
Richard/N6KT, Flo/F5CWU, Bob/N4CD, Eugene/RK3AD, Tom/GM4FDM,
Hrane/YT1AD, Krassimir/K1LZ, Doug/N6TQS, Jeff/K1ZM, Vojislav,
Will/K6ND and Andrea/IK1PMR. QSL Manager will be Rob Snieder, PA5ET.
Some of the team members will arrive early and enter the CQ WPX SSB

VK - The Lockyer Valley Radio Club (http://www.lvrclub.org) will be
operating as VK4FRI from Fraser Island (OC-142) on 15-19 March 2004.
They will be active on all HF bands using SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK and
SSTV. QSL direct only to P.O. Box 101, Laidley, QLD 4341, Australia.
YV0- AVES ISLAND. "The Daily DX" reports that the tenth most wanted DXCC
entity will be activated in late January or sometime in February by
Radio Club Venezolano (RCV). This operation will coincide with the
RCV's (YV5AJ) celebrating their 70th anniversary in 2004. Activity
is expected to be on all bands and modes, including operations on 6
meters, SAT, digital modes (RTTY, PSK, SSTV) and possibly EME. They
also plan to have a YL operator for the YL chasers. The callsign
will be annouced at a later date. More details are forthcoming.
