Notes of interest:
4S - SRI LANKA. Franz, DL9GFB and Joachim, DL9MS are QRV as 4S7FBG
and 4S7JWG, respectively, until November 4. Activity is on 160
to 6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. They will use the call-
sign 4S7WAG in the Worked All Germany contest. QSL 4S7FBG and
4S7WAG via DL9GFB and 4S7JWG via DL9MS. [TNX ARLD]
CE - CHILE. CE3/SP9PT/m and CE3/SP9EVP/m will be active while travelling
from Santiago to the Atacama desert from Nov 1-8. QSLs via home-

CE0- EASTER ISLAND, SA-001. Jacek,CE0Y/SQ9BOP, will be active in SSB/
RTTY/PSK from Oct 19-27. QSL via SP6GVU. [TNX DXNL]

CE0Y/SP9PT and CE0Y/SP9EVP will be on the air between Oct 17 and Nov 1.
They prefer operating in CW on 80-6m but can be found also in other

HC - Andy, NP3D reports he will be active as HC4/NP3D (QSL via W3HNK)
and HC4/NP3D/p (QTH to be announced, QSL via NP3D) from Ecuador on
19-28 October, CQ WW DX SSB Contest included. He will operate RTTY,
CW and SSB on all HF bands, with an emphasis on RTTY and the WARC

HK0- The Florida DXPedition Group's team for the 20-28 October activity
from San Andres Island (NA-033) [425DXN 623] includes K4QD, KR4DA,
N1WON, N2WB, W1LR, W4WX and W9AAZ. They will operate as HK0/homecall
(QSL HK0/N2WB via N2OO, others via home calls) on 160-6 metres CW,
SSB, RTTY, PSK31 and Hellschriber. Look for 5J0X (QSL via N1WON,
direct or bureau) during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest as a Multi-Two

LZ - BULGARIA. The special event station LZ100JVA is active throughout
October celebrating the 100th birthday of John Vincent Atanasov

VK9C-COCOS-KEELING ISLANDS, OC-003. Gerd,DJ5IW, Hartmut,DM5TI,

This contest is dedicated to the anniversary dead day (10
November, 1938) of the Mustafa Kemal ATATURK who founded the
