Notes of interest:
7P - LESOTHO. "NOT TO BE CONFUSED with the African Double Jump DXpedi-
tion" listed above, look for three Texans (Frosty/K5LBU, Madison/
W5MJ and Tom/WW5L) and one Canadian (Neil/VA7DX) to be active as
7P8CF, 7P8MJ,7P8TA and 7P8NK, respectively, from July 18-25th.
Activity will be on all bands 160-10 meters CW/SSB/PSK31/RTTY.
QSL each by their home calls. The group currently does not have
a Web page, but more details will be released after June 1st.

DL - A group of German operators (including DH1LA, DH2AX, DH7NO, DL2RTK
DL2SWW, DL2VFR, DL6ATM and others) will participate in the IOTA
Contest (26-27 July) as DL0KWH from Peenemuende, Usedom Island
(EU-129). Before the contest they will operate for 2-3 days with
individual callsigns on CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK. QSL via bureau.[TNX

TG - Mario/TG9ADQ, Francisco/TG9ANF, Edgar/TG9AXF and Sergio/TG9SM will
operate (on 40, 20, 17 and 15 metres SSB, RTTY, PSK and SSTV) as
TG0AA on 29-30 June (from 18 UTC to 18 UTC).The activity will take
place from Pacaya, an active volcano located some 17 miles away
from Guatemala City. A special QSL will be issued via TG9AXF
(P.O. Box 57, Mixco 01957, Guatemala). [TNX 425DXN]
V31- BELIZE. Wayne/N5WD and his wife Pamela/KB5UAE are planning to be
active as V31WD and V31UA, respectively, from Placencia (EK56),
July 15-21st. Wayne will be concentrating on 6 meters during the
CQWW VHF Contest weekend. However, he will be on 80-6 meters at
other times during the week and can do PSK31/SSB/CW. He tells OPDX
"Maybe next trip we'll add WSJT". QSLs to N5WD, callbook address

CONTEST; Join in the PODXS 070 Club's second Firecracker 40 M Sprint.
Remember the time for the sprint is July 5, 2003 from 2000z
to 2000z YOUR LOCAL TIME. You can work PSK 31 and or PSK63.
