Notes of interest:
3B8- MAURITIUS. Herman, ON4AME, is expected to be active as 3B8/ON4AME
from Mauritius (grid square LG89) from March 9-22nd. Activity will
be on CW/SSB and digimodes (SSTV-RTTY-PSK31-JT44... anything that
is soundblaster compatible) using a TS2000X fitted with 160m-23cm.
The antennas will be verticals and beams. More details will be

9N - After a couple of weeks spent at home Hugo, LA5YJ/9N7YJ is back to
Kathmandu, Nepal for a longer stay on an U.N. assignment. He now has
a better transceiver and trapped dipoles for 160, 80, 40, 30, 17 and
12 metres, and will try to get a linear amplifier. Please note that
he does not work on RTTY or PSK31. Updates will be published at

EA6- Christian, DL6KAC will be active again (mainly SSB with some RTTY
and/or PSK31) as EA6/DL6KAC from Mallorca (DIE E-021), Balearic
Islands (EU-004) from 11 March to 10 April. QSL via home call

HH - HAITI. Members of the Florida DX Group are part of a humanitarian
mission team traveling in Haiti. Look for Jan, K4QD, William, N2WB,
Bill, W4WX and Al, K3VN to be QRV as HH4/homecalls from March 10
to 21. When not involved with mission projects, their activity will
be on 160 to 6 meters using all modes, including PSK31.

OC-242 - Operators YB8CR, YB8BHV, YB0KLI, YC8CPV,YB0DPO,YB8HZ,YB8HGM,
YB0ECT, YB0LBK and YB0AI will be active from Latondu Island,
Takabonerate, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, between March 26-31st.
The callsign will be YE8A, and the QSL Manager is YB8BRI.
They planned to be active on all HF bands 80-10 meters CW,
SSB, SSTV, RTTY, PSK31 and AO-40 Satellite. Also, look for
