Notes of interest:

CE - The 3G5Q operators [425DXN 615] have been granted permission to
     start their activity from Quiriquina Island (SA-070, ARLS CHI-025)
     a few hours earlier than originally planned and now they hope to
     become QRV around 21 UTC on  21 February. They will try to operate
     also on RTTY or PSK31 and to install a dipole for 160 metres in
     order to be active during the CQ 160M SSB Contest. Logs will be
     available at http://www.qsl.net/3g5q after  the operation. QSL via

DL - DL0DAF is the Clubstation of the German-Arabian-Friendship-Circle
     - DAFK - With special DOK "DAFK". The main aim of the DAFK is the
     communication between the peoples of the Orient and Occident using

JA - Look for JS6QVP (QSL via JI5USJ), JS6QVQ (QSL via JI5RPT) and and
     JI5RPT/6 (QSL via home call) to be active (on 160-6 metres CW, SSB,
     RTTY and PSK31) from the Daito Islands (AS-047) [425DXN 611] on
     4-11 March. Cards can be sent either direct or through the JARL
     bureau. More information is available at

AS-047 - (Update) Toru/JI5USJ and Makoto/JI5RPT will be active from
     Daito Island March 4-11th as JS6QVP and JS6QVQ, respectively,
     on CW/SSB only. The callsign JI5RPT/6 will be used on RTTY/PSK31
     only. Activity will be on 160-6 meters (w/200 watts and 50
     watts for RTTY/PK31). Their antennas are: 160-10m DP, 20/15/10m
     2 element HB9CV and 17/12m 2 element HB9CV. QSL direct to
     their home callsign (address in OPDX.593) or via the bureau.

SA-085 - Members of the Atacama Desert DX Group (Operators include
     Mauricio/CA2WUI, Danilo/XQ1ZW, Nicolas/XQ1IDM, Patricio/CE1URH,
     Patricio/CE1VLY, Sergio/CE1RQB and Ricardo/CE1FLS) will be
     active as 3G1P from Pan de Azucar, March 14-17th. Activity
     will be on 160-6 meters CW/SSB/PSK31/RTTY and possibly SSTV.

The PSK31 Rumble (The Spring Wakeup).
     Sponsored by Troy ARA, 0000z through 2400z, April 19th, PSK only.
     80,40,20,15,10,6 meters. Work stations once per band. Exchange:
     name, state/province/DX send dxcc prefix.Operate 1 of 5 categories.
     Normal, 100w max. Great, 20w max.  Super, 5w max. Novice or SWL.
     Final score is QSO's * (W + VE + JA + VK call areas + 1 point per
     DX incl. your own). Mults. count once per band. To be valid,
     scores must be received via our online score submission form found
