Notes of interest:

HH - Haiti. A large team of the Florida DXpedition Group(FDXPG) will
     attempt  an humanitarian mission team traveling to Haiti. They
     will operate  from the Northwest Haiti Christian  Mission (NWHCM)
     March 10-21.The team will have three stations and when not working
     on mission projects they will operate on all bands 160M through 6M
     and all modes including PSK-31.  QSL HH4/K4QD, HH4/W4WX AND
     HH4/K3VN via CBA.QSL HH4/N2WB via N2OO. For more information visit

J7 - Bob Reiser. AA1M and Mike Rioux, W1USN will be active as J75PL
     and J75RN  respectively from Dominica (NA-101) on 21-28 January.
     Operations will be on the HF bands with activity in CW, SSB and
     PSK31. QSL via home calls (direct or bureau). [TNX 425DXN]

JA - JI5USJ and JI5RPT plan to operate (on 160-10 metres SSB, CW, RTTY
     and PSK31) as homecall/6 from the Daito Islands (AS-047) for about
     one week in early March. Details are expected in due course.

KG4- Pick, WA5PAE (KG4IZ) and Jay, K4ZLE (KG4MO) will return to Guanta-
     namo Bay from 28 January until 4 Feburary. They will operate all
     bands from 160 to 10  metres using mostly CW, PSK-31 and RTTY. QSL
     via home calls either direct or through the bureau. [TNX 425DXN]

S2 - John, KX7YT will be active as S21YV from Dhaka, Bangladesh from 27
     January to 2 March. He plans to operate on 10, 15 and 20 metres
     SSB, PSK31  and CW. Usual operating times are 12 UTC to 16 UTC
     daily. John will be active during the ARRL CW and Phone DX
     Contests, work schedule permitting. QSL via home call.[TNX 425DXN]

V4 - AC8W, K8DD and one or two other operators will be active from St.
     Kitts (NA-104) on 12-19 February, ARRL DX CW Contest included.
     Before and after the contest they will operate PSK31, RTTY and on
     the WARC bands. QSL via home calls (personal calls have been
     applied for in addition to a contest call, details are expected in

VK - Australian radio amateurs will be able to celebrate their country's
     national day for 48 hours this year with the use of the alternative
     prefix AX replacing the normal VK. The mainland of Australia has
     four different time zones -  and mix of standard and summer time.
     VK's can substitute the AX prefix from 00.01 local time on Sunday
     26 January through 23.59 local time on Monday 27 January. WIA
     Victoria (http://www.wiavic.org.au) will be activating AX3WI on the
     two days using SSB, RTTY, PSK31 and CW, mainly on 20, 15 and 10
     metres. A special event QSL card will be issued. [TNX 425DXN]

XE - Enrique/XE1IH (ex XE1LWY), Javier/XE1KOF, Jose/XE1ZJV, Jose Luis
     XE1YJL and Juan Jose/XE1XNH plan to be active as XF2IH from
     Enmedio Island in the Veracruz State South group (NA-???) between
     20 and 27 March. They expect to operate CW (1825, 3530, 7030,
     10115, 14040, 18098, 21040, 24910, 28040 and 50102 kHz) and SSB
     (1845, 3755, 7055, 14260, 18128, 21260, 24950, 28460, 28560 and
     50145 kHz), with some PSK31. QSL via XE1IH (Enrique Garcia Munive,
