SP, ON, EA, SM, S5, SV, YO, LA, LU, PY, W, JA, OE, HB and many other
countries on the Bands.

Notes of interest:
3DA0-SWAZILAND. Frosty K5LBU, will once again operate from here between
July 11-18th as 3DA0CF. Andre, ZS6WPX, will be his host and take
him to the station which should have a 3 element tribander plus
dipoles for the low bands. They hope to put up something for 6
meters during this time. Frosty plans on bringing a RigBlaster to
try some PSK (if he can learn how it works), otherwise it will be
all SSB. He also plans to be in the IARU Contest. Frosty states he
will arrive in ZS-land on the July 5th and leave for Houston,
Texas, on August 4th. He teachs school, so he has to be back by
August 9th. QSL via K5LBU direct or bureau. SASE or SAE and USD or

7X - ALGERIA. Mirek, 9V1XE/VK2DXI/SP5IXI, will once again be active as
7X0DX. His activity will begin the first or second week of July.
He is expected to be there longer this time, 3-4 weeks. He will be
active in his spare time on HF and via AO40. This time he will not
take antennas for UO14, so there will be no activity on this
satellite. During his last activities, Mirek was active from the
locator IM81. This time, he will also activate IM93. On HF, he will
be on CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. Look for Topband activity. Updates
about his operation will be published on the Web site at:

9H - Maurice, ON4BAM reports he will be active (on all HF bands SSB
and PSK) as 9H3Z from Malta (EU-023) on 15-30 July, IOTA Contest
included. Logs for his previous operations are available at

9H - Jose, EA5KW will be active, probably as 9H3KW, from Gozo Island
(EU-023) on 12-18 August. He plans to operate on SSB, CW, RTTY

JW - Tom, LA4LN will be active again as JW4LN from Spitsbergen (EU-026)
on 6-8 July and 17-21 July and (weather premitting) from Bear
Island (EU-027) on 9-16 July. He will operate (mainly in the local
evenings and when time permits) on the lower CW portions of
especially the 40, 30, and 20m bands (or other bands which may be
open) and on 6 metres (50150 +/- 15 kHz). PSK-31 and RTTY are
possible, but not from Bear Island, where a battery and a gasoline

OP0- BELGUIM (Special Prefix). A Belguim radio club station (ON6CK and
OT2R) will be using the special callsign OP0GS at various times to
commemorate the "Battle of the Golden Spurs" until the end of 2002
On July 11th, a special activity day,OP0GS is planned to be active
for a 24 hour period on different bands and modes including RTTY
and probably PSK31 also. QSL as follows: OP0GS via ON5GK, ON6CK
via ON4ADN and OT2R via ON4ADN. [TNX OPDX]
SPECIAL EVENT. The Prezes BGK (SP9PGB) will activate the special event
callsign SN150HZ (Sierra November One Five Zero Hotel Zulu) to
celebrate the 150th birthday anniversary of Hugo Zapalowicz.
Activity will be on CW/SSB/RTTY/SSTV/PSK, between July 15th and
August 31st. QSL, please, via the Bureau to SP9PGB. Hugo Zapalowicz
was a Polish nature explorer and the activist for nature preserva-
tion, author of the natural science study, geological study and the
study of folk names from region of the Babia Gora Moutain. He was a
propagater for climbing and highlander folk custom. Babia Gora
Moutain is at the top (1725m) of the Beskid Wysoki in Polish
