Hi all,

There's now a stand-alone version of Simon Brown's amazing PSK31 program:
PSK31 Deluxe available to those without a Yaesu FT-817. PSK31 Deluxe is a
Windws program which has been thoroughly tested on W95, W98, W98se, WinNT,
W2000 and WinXP. The program is FREEWARE, and can be downloaded from the
official FT-817 Commander and PSK31 Deluxe download and support site:

http://www.halpin.tomaatnet.nl

PLEASE download the .RTF file with tips on setting up the macros at the same
time.

New in this version:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>> New: Beacon mode! PSK31 Deluxe will later support the BEACONet formats -
these are
currently being developed.

>>> Bugs fixed: A hang-up situation with Windows 98 SE when entering
text in the Tx window, also some scrolling issues have been resolved with
Windows 98 SE. This is because there are various versions of the Microsoft
DLL containing the Rx/Tx window code and they behave differently :-(

>>> Macros enhancement: you can now define a Tag as containing your own
information, for example 'My Callsign' etc. If you use these tags in macros
it makes it very easy for you to change things like your own callsign, for
example when switching from W1BBLE to W1BBLE/P or changing you location from
JN46pt to ZZ99xx.

Simon supplies my own Macros and Tags files in the kits, you'll find:
    HB9DRV's PSK31 Deluxe Macros.txt
and
    HB9DRV's PSK31 Deluxe Tags.txt

in the installation directory. Save your own tags and macros first, then try
these and all should be obvious. If not then please shout at Simon, not me.

The Macros and Tags managers both have a menu option to save your
definitions to a file.
