Notes of interest:
9U - BURUNDI. Gus 9U5D is active on PSK31 untill March 3. Then he
will go back to Sweden. QSL via SM5BFJ [TNX 9U5D]
KG4- GUANTANAMO BAY. Don, W4ZYT, informs OPDX that as of now, the
planned Guantanamo Bay operation by the Virginia DX Century Club
appears to be a go. They will be there from February 12-20th, and
should be operational February 12-19th, with participation in the
ARRL CW DX Contest. Activity will be on all bands and modes,inclu-
ding PSK-31. The operators are: Don W4ZYT/KG4ZK, O.B. W4SD/KG4SD,
Chuck N8CH/KG4NW, Gordon KU4EC/KG4EC, and Chet N6ZO/KG4??. They
will use the VaDXCC Club Callsign KG4DZ in the contest. Please QSL
via the individual stations. QSL KG4DZ via W4SD. Bureau cards are
fine, but should go via the individual operator's HOME CALL BUREAU
as there is no longer a KG4 Bureau. [TNX OPDX]
OA - Ghi, ON4CD is active as OA/ON4CD from Peru until the end of the
year. He operates on 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metres CW (14005/14010,
21005/21010, 18080/18090, 24900/24905 and 28005/28010 kHz), RTTY
and PSK, with some SSB from time to time. He says that sometimes
the QRN level is S9+20db and there is no way to decode anything.
S9 - SAO TOME. LA5QKA, LA5UF, LA6EIA, LA6FJA, LA7THA, LA7WCA, LC3EAT,
LC6ZBT, SM5COP and SM5IMO are active as S9LA until February 11
using CW, SSB, RTTY, SSTV and PSK31 on 160 to 6 meters. QSL via
LA2N. [TNX ARLD]
T8 - PALAU. Mitsu, JH5OXF will be QRV as T88XF using CW, SSB, RTTY and
PSK31 on 80 to 6 meters from February 9 to 12. QSL to home call.
Meanwhile, Derek, G3KHZ, Maurizio, IZ1CRR and Nando, IT9YRE are
QRV as T88SI from Sonsorol Island, no IOTA number as yet, until
February 10. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters, including the newer
bands, using CW and SSB. QSL via IT9YRE. [TNX ARLD]
VP2M-Art, N2NB will be active as VP2MDY from Montserrat (NA-103) on
14-26 February. Look for him on 6-160 metres on all modes, PSK31
included. QSL via N2NB. [TNX 425DXN]
ZF - Doug, N6TQS, will be operating in the RTTY WPX contest this coming
weekend 9-10 February) from Little Cayman as ZF2QS. He hopes to be
on PSK31 before and after the contest. QSL to home CBA. [TNX RTDX]
TARA PSK31 RUMBLE ---> The TARA PSK31 Rumble (The Spring Wakeup),
sponsored by Troy ARA, will take place from 00.00 UTC through 24.00
UTC on 20 April (PSK only on 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 and 6 metres).
