Okay seems folks like the idea , we will give it a shot. The first 30M PSK
Net will start Tuesday December 28 at 0300 UTC (Monday 12/27 10PM Eastern
time in the USA) on 10.140
Net control will be KB2EOQ.
Spread the word and sign up for NCS duties so we can get the net into a
daily net with many participants. DX stations welcome!

Subject: [psk31] It's Dejavu All Over Again
Well, WinPSK was kicked off of it's second home in one week. Have not heard
the reason why yet from VirtualAve folks. Thought it was a server glitch
but has been 2 days now with no word from them.
So for now I'm putting WinPSK "back in the shop" for overhaul and repairs. I
have got an email box full of good ideas and bugs to fix over the holidays.
I will work on these rather than spend all of my time having to explain
"where is the program is now located", "why are you jerking us around",
etc.etc..
My original site <www.mindspring.com/~ae4jy> will be back up after the new
year and I will place information there and a link to where the new files
will be located. This way only one URL will be used for all access to the
program regardless of where the files may be actually located. So, save
this URL, delete the buggy version 0.2 from your PC, relax over the
holidays, and check back after New Years for a new version.
Hopefully this will make life easier on everyone who has been frustrated
with my internet blunderings. It also gives me some breathing room to
actually work on the program rather than answer a zillion emails a day
concerning the web site.
Thank you for all your patience and suggestions. In retrospect and for
future endeavors, I should have asked for 5-10 brave volunteers to quietly
evaluate the program before ever announcing it to the general public. Live
and learn.

Subject: [psk31] Running Great; WINPSK04
Have been running WINPSK04 for 4 days under Win 95 with great
performance. Weak Signal recognition very good. No crashes, and no
interaction with any other programs. Like all other PSK Programs, you
can only have one program using the sound card AT A TIME, so I select
TESTMODE, and don't click either OK or Cancel, then bring up Spectragram
(Gram50.exe) , if I want to confirm tuning. I then STOP Spectragram,
click Cancel of TESTMODE in WINPSK, and am back up. You don't have to
use Spectragram, but for those of us who have used it for PSK31 tuning
verification, it is still a good 2nd check. For users of PFE,
Programmers File Editor, I also have it going and use for file Macros
greater than 256 Characters. Works great with WINPSK
