Subject: [psk31] PSK with ICOM-706MKII Help
I have gotten PSK31 going using my IC-706 and wiring the Soundcard output
into the microphone input, and therefore using VOX. However, it is really
fiddly getting the fine tuning between the VOX and Anti-Vox to work right.
So ... I'd like to use the ACC jack on the rear panel.
On p 33 of the manual are connections for RTTY(AFSK) and I thought that
would be the place to start.
I would like to get
a. the audio in to the sound card (ACC pin 12)
b. the audio output from the sound card into the radio (ACC pin 11)
c. PTT from the DTR pin on a COM port (ACC pin 7)
d. and of course GND (ACC pin 3)
I would like to hear from anyone who has done this and make sure I'm on the
right path. I plan on using the AFSK part of the circuit on NB6Z 's web
page.
