Subject: [psk31] Logger versus Writelog

I noticed a post that says Writelog 10 now supports RTTY AND PSK31 for
soundcard. I just used Logger in the PSK31 Rumble and was very impressed
with it. I was so impressed that I thought of digging out my old PK232 to
do RTTY in Logger , mainly in contests, since Logger does not support RTTY
via soundcard.

However, while trying to get my bloody PK232's tones to stop sounding like a
drunken buzz-saw (and not having much sense) the possibility of trying
Writelog has occurred to me. Since Writelog does not appear to have a demo
version, I wonder if some folks would compare it's features to Logger. I
know that unlike Logger Writelog has contest formulas build in, but I really
like Logger's macros PLUS the ability to capture callsigns, RST, and name
with simple mouse clicks. I wonder if Writelog has such capabilities ?

Comments appreciated.

Andy KB2EOQ.
