I am not surpised it's quiet on 28080.
We are all up here on 28120: the well-publicised 10m PSK31 meeting-point.
I have been working Brazil and Argentina all weekend on 28120, well
away from the RTTY racket.

Just a note documenting something to watch out for:
I am running Logger 6.09a for PSK31 and using the Icom CT-17 to interface
with my IC-765. I also use the same (shared) comport (Com1) to provide
PTT for the rig.
When I am booting up the computer (PIII 500 MHz) I notice that the PTT is
turned on for a fair amount of the time while the system gets all its
brains in place.
I don't find that this causes any problem since the rig almost always
resides in CW Narrow for reception and LSB for transmission running PSK31
under Split mode. Under these conditions, the rig is "idle" although
keyed on. Any audio input via the mic *would* be transmitted. Since my
mic is disconnected 99% of the time, this is not a problem here.
But, if the rig were in AM, RTTY or FM mode, it would be keyed and
emitting carrier throughout most of the bootup cycle. This is probably
not a good idea.
You might want to watch out for this and see if it causes you any
problem.
