Notes of interest:

5W, SAMOA (Update/Refer to OPDX.424). Gerard, PA3AXU, informs OPDX that
he will arrive in 5W-land early morning (local time) September 28th, and
he states that he should have had enough time to sleep during his flights
(total travelling time 29 hours). He states that he will be active on
PSK31 and hopes that Pacific will allow at least some low band activity,
although he will not be taking an amplifier. All equipment and software
has been tested last weekend. Gerard adds, "My XYL Ria will go with me,
but she promised me that she will take enough books to read, so that
the time I can be QRV is 'unlimited'." Activity will last until October
14th. QSL via: G.A.M.C. Dijkers, Dokter P.A. Cornethof 3, 6669AZ Dodewaard
(The Netherlands).

VK9NS - Jim Smith, reports to OPDX that he will be leaving Norfolk
Island soon, and the QSLing will stop until he gets back. He wants us
to tell everyone to "Please ask the guys/gals not to re-QSL." Jim is
due back on Norfolk Island in mid November. By the way, Jim has been
working some RTTY and is really enjoying PSK31.

BAHRAIN - A92GE, David resumed his PSK31 activity after 6 weeks Holiday
          in United Kingdom.

PAKISTAN - AP2NK, Nasir returned back to his DX activity on the Mode
due to rainseason in their country. His DX chedule later.

TONGA - Klaus, DJ4SO, and Manfred, DJ7RJ, will be QRV again from Fafa Island
