1) measure voltage with voltmeter.

2) build simple clamp circuit or adapt vastly expensive Signalink to allow
for higher voltage on PTT line. If it's opto isolated you'll probably only
need to change a resistor in series with the opto isolator transmitter.

Just a thought... is the 902 really the right radio to use for digital
modes? Just an assumption seeing you want to use a soundcard interface with
your radio. 

The 902 is a great radio but from having worked many 101zd/901/902 users on
PSK and the like, they dont seem inherently stable enough. The drift during
QSOs is always noticeable.
