countries on the Bands.

Notes of interest:
5X - Jay, K4ZLE will operate as time permits as 5X2A from Uganda on 3-21
August. Some effort will be made to operate on the lower bands this
year, mostly on CW. Activity is also planned for PSK31. QSL direct
via K4ZLE.
9A - CROATIA. Laci, HA0HW and Tomi, HA4DX will be QRV as 9A/homecalls
from Silo, Krk Island, IOTA EU-136, from August 2 to 12. They are
here on holiday, so their activity may be limited. They plan to be
active on al HF bands using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. QSL to home
calls.
FR - REUNION ISLAND. Joseph, FR5HA has been QRV using PSK31 on 20
meters around 0400z and then around 1200z. QSL via operator's
instructions.
GD - A large group of operators from the Wrexham and District ARS will
be active as GB4IOM and GB4SPT from Scarlett Point, a disused Coast
Guard look out tower on the Isle of Man (EU-116) on 1-8 September.
Operation will be on all HF bands, 50Mhz, 70Mhz and 144Mhz; the team
expects to be active on at least two or three HF bands simultaneo-
usly and to operate CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK and some SSTV. QSL via the
RSGB bureau or direct (address TBA). A wide range of certificates
and awards will be available for contacting the stations. Details

KG4- Bill, W4WX will operate as KG4DX from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NA-015)
on 10-14 August. Look for him on SSB, RTTY, and PSK-31 on most
bands. QSL via home call.
TJ - CAMEROON. Operators Manfred/DK1BT, Wolf/DL4WK, Reiner/DL7KL,
Sigi/DL7DF, Frank/DL7UFR and Les/SP3DOI will be active from Kribi
as TJ3SP and TJ3FR, October 6-20th. Sigi, DL7DF, informed OPDX they
received their license on March 23rd. They plan to have 4 stations
(3 w/amps) active. Their radios and antennas are: IC735, IC706,
PA's, Vertical Titanex V80E, Vertical for 40m, Vertical for 30m,
Beam A3WS and a Beam for 20, 15, 10m. Activity will be on 80-10
meters and the WARC bands. There will be no 6m and 160m
(NO LICENCE/AUTHORIZATION in CAMEROON). Most of the activity will
be on the low bands and on RTTY, PSK31 and SSTV. They are looking
for some support for their DXpedtion because of some problems with
transportation of oversized and extra baggage. The operation's Web

V47- Nevis Isl. Larry KJ4UY again will visit Nevis Aug 20-28 this year.
Activity will be on all bands/modes. 6M gear will be ON all time.
