Notes of interest:
5W - SAMOA. 5W0DL has been QRV using PSK31 on 20 meters between 0400
and 1200z. Also, 5W0TR has been QRV on 30 meters after 0830z.
QSL both calls via K8AA.
9A - Laci/HA0HW and Tomi/HA4DX will operate as 9A/HA0HW and 9A/HA4DX
from Krk Island (EU-136, IOCA CI-046) on 2-12 August. Expect
activity in their early morning and late evening hours on various
HF bands mainly CW, with some PSK31, RTTY and SSB. QSL via home
calls, direct or bureau.
CT3- MADEIRA ISLANDS. A number of operators are QRV as CT9P from
Madeira until July 19. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using CW,
SSB, RTTY and PSK31. QSL via operators' instructions.
DL - Sven, DD6VSF will operate on 40, 20 and 17 metres SSB and PSK31
from several islands as follows:
23-25 July Wangerooge EU-047
30 July- 1 August Fehmarn EU-128
6-8 August Scharhoern EU-127
13-15 August Usedom EU-129
20-22 August Ruegen EU-057

FP - ST. PIERRE AND MIQUELON ISLANDS (Update to OPDX.666). Due to
numerous requests, the FP/VE7SV team going to Miquelon Island
(NA-032) between October 23rd to November 2nd have added the
RTTY, PSK31 and Satellite modes to their operating plan. For

SV - GREECE. In celebration of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, a
group of Greek amateurs are active as SY2004KF until September 15,
from Kefallonia Island, IOTA EU-052, in the Ionian Sea. Activity
is on 160 to 10 meters, including the newer bands and possibly 6
meters, using mostly CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. QSL via operators'
instructions.
SV - GREECE. Look for Nikos, SV2WT, to be active as SY2004WT now through
September 15th. Activity will be on 160-10 meters, SSB, CW, RTTY,
PSK and SSTV. QSL via the Bureau. The SY2004 and SX2004 are two
special prefixes that can be used by Greek radio amateurs for the
period before and during the Olympic Games in Athens. For more

W - Steve, W3HF will be active as W3HF/4 from Bogue Banks (NA-112, USI
NC-010S) on 9-15 August. Operation will be QRP on 40 through 15
metres, Primary mode will be PSK, with some SSB (those who want to
schedule an SSB contact can e-mail Steve before the trip at
w3hf@arrl.net. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.
SCANDINAVIA TOUR ---> Maurice, ON4BAM will be visiting Sweden, Finland
and Norway starting on 17 July and will operate SSB and possibly
PSK as SM/ON4BAM, OH/ON4BAM and LA/ON4BAM. He also plans to be
active from a few IOTA groups (EU-044, EU-046, EU-033, EU-076 and
EU-062). From 28 July to 1 August he will be at Longyearbyen
(EU-026), Svalbard and will be active as JW/ON4BAM. QSL via home
call.
