Notes of interest:

EU PSK DX CONTEST 2004. The Scottish-Russian ARS is honored to invite
     the radio amateurs all over the world to participate in the (first
     ever) European Digital DX Contest which will be held on the third
     full weekend in May every year. The objective of the contest is to
     establish as many contacts as possible between radio amateurs
     around the world and radio amateurs in Europe using the BPSK31
     mode. Everybody can work everybody for QSO and multiplier credit.
     This year's contest will start at 1200z on May 22nd and last
     through 1200z May 23rd. Activity will be on the BPSK31 mode and on
     the 80/40/20/15/10 meters band. Recommended frequencies are in
     accordance with the IARU bandplan. For more details, please visit

EU-032. A French team consisting of Fabrice/F5NBQ, Eric/F5LOW,
     Christian/F2EJ, Christian/F1SDQ, Jean-Philippe/F4EEK, Laurent/
     F5MNK and Jacky/F5OIU will be active as TM1X from AIX Island
     between May 15th to 20th. Activity is planned for 80-10 meters
     on CW and SSB, and may be the digital modes (RTTY, PSK31).
     They will have two 100 watts stations using wires and beam
     antennas. AIX Island other references are:
     DIFM AT-023  (for the French islands award)
     PB-036 for the headlight (Onshore Lighthouses DPLF Award)
     QSL via F4EEK, either by the bureau or direct to:
     Herbouille Jean-Philippe, 12 rue Francois Mauriac,
     16100 COGNAC, France.

CT3- Antonio/CT1EPV, Luis/CT1AGF, Hermann/CT3FN (HB9CRV), Jose/CT3MD,
     Toni/HB9EBV and maybe Juergen/DJ2VO will be active as CT9P from
     the lighthouse (LH 0830, FMA01) on Ilheu de Cima (AF-014) on 16-19
     July. They will operate on 10-40 metres CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31
     with two stations. QSL to Kim Larson via N3SL.

SV - Tomi/HA4DX, Laci/HA0HW and Geza/HA4XG have been issued the
     following calls to be used during a number of operations from
     Greece:
     J45DX, J45HW and J45XG (Dodecanese),
     J47DX, J47HW and J47XG (Thraki),
     J49DX, J49HW and J49XG (Crete),
     J48DX, J48HW and J48XG (other islands).
     Their first activities will take place from Thassos (EU-174) on
     21-27 May and from Thraki on 28-31 May, CQ WPX CW Contest included.
     They plan to have three stations and to operate on all bands CW and
     SSB, with some RTTY and PSK31. QSL via home calls, bureau or
     direct.
