Notes of interest:
7Q - Mark/G4AXX, Dick/GU4CHY, Steve/G4JVG and Rich/M5RIC will operate
from Malawi between 18 April and 1 May. The callsign will be
announced shortly before the start of the operation. Activity will
be on 10-80 metres CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK, using three stations with
amplifiers and beam antennas. QSL via G3LQP direct (Roger Brown, 262
Fir Tree Road, Epsom KT17 3NL, England) or via the bureau. A website
at http://www.malawi.digital-crocus.com has been set up and will
include a log-search facility updated regularly. Each of the team
members will be making a personal donation to a Malawian aid charity
(details to appear on the website) and donations from DX clubs and
individuals for the DXpedition or the charity would be welcome. They
may be sent to G4JVG (Steve Telenius-Lowe, 27 Hertford Road,
Stevenage SG2 8RZ, England).
8Q - Hardy, DL5SBA will be active as 8Q7BA from Athuruga, Maldives
(AS-013) on 4-20 March. He will operate RTTY and PSK only on 20
metres (possibly on 17 and 30 metres as well) with 50 watts. QSL
via home call, preferably through the DARC bureau.
AK0A informs that he will be active on PSK31 as T30WB from Mar 26th
to Apr 2nd, then as T33C from Apr 5th to Apr 15th, and again as
T30WB from Apr 19th to Apr 21st. Also 3D2WB after 22 Apr.
C5 - Jan, PA9JJ will be active again as C56JJ from Kololi, The Gambia
from 29 March to 5 April. This year he will operate also RTTY and/or
PSK31 and will try to work on 160 metres. If the low bands are not
good, he will concentrate on the WARC bands. No activity on 6 metres

FO0- A multi-national team of experienced operators led by Dave Anderson,
K4SV will be active from Clipperton Island (NA-011) for 8-10 days
starting on or around 8 March. The callsign and the web site will be
announced just prior to leaving for the island. Activity will be on
10-160 metres on CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK and also AO-40 (CW and SSB)
using five stations with amplifiers and beam/vertical antennas. QSL
via K4YL. Donations to help cover costs will be gratefully received;
for more information please contact Dave, K4SV (K4SV2@Charter.net).
KP2- Harry, W6DXO will operate SSB and PSK as KP2/W6DXO from St. John,
Virgin Islands (NA 106) on 14-19 March. Activity will be focused
on 17, 12 and 10 metres. QSL via home call.
V3 - Don/N5DD, Amy/KC5DJI, James/AG5TX and Renee/KD5YCG will operate as
V31AD from Placencia, Belize on 13-20 March.Expect activity on SSB,
RTTY and PSK, with special attention paid to 12, 17, 80 and 40
metres, and possibly 160 and 6 metres. Further information at

VK9N-NORFOLK ISLANDS. Look for Babs/DL7AFS and Lot/DJ7ZG to be active
this week from Norfolk Island now through March 13th. Activity will
be on 80-6 meters SSB/RTTY/PSK. QSL via DL7AFS, to the DARC Bureau
or direct to: Baerbel Linge, Eichwaldstrasse 86, D-34123 Kassel,
Germany.
VP9- David, M0CNP (http://www.qsl.net/m0cnp) will operate (on 10-80
metres SSB, CW and maybe RTTY and PSK31 as well) as M0CNP/VP9
from Bermuda (NA-005) on 10-22 March. QSL via home call.
