For those of you who have a Psion Revo and want to use it on packet here
is the pin outs.
Below is the pin outs for making a null modem adapter for the Psion Revo
to connect up a packet radio tnc. This *works fine* for me with a Tiny 2
and a copy of PocPag by G0HZK.I believe the same adapter will allow a GPS
or phone modem to be connected direct to the Revo docking station but I
have not tried it.
I have also successfully used the XTM DOS Emulator available from the
internet and run Paket 6.1/6.2 and even BPQ with it.
The superior node/aprs-ax25-tcpip-router with basic PMS DOS system called
XROUTER from G8PZT run fine on the XTM system/Psion too ! (www.g8pzt.org)
I built my adapter (applicable to the UK) with parts from Maplin
Electronics. They can for 99 pence supply a D-TYPE box that houses the
two d-types and the actual d-type connectors are approx 1 UKP. Cheap.
