Hi All,
I notice occasionally that when I am on packet my pk232
appears deaf even to signals as strong as 59+. For example I can be
connected to my local node and after a while even though I know the node
is coming back to me there is nothing coming up on my screen. It just
seems to lock into a cycle of the node calling me and me acknowledging but
not being picked up by the node or vice versa. I am very anxious to avoid
this as I don't wish to hog the freq .
Also when I am in unproto mode calling the ISS or NO 44 and I
send my ui frame I can hear the birds coming straight back to me but
nothing coming up on the screen. When I do eventually get thru the copy
from both birds is excellent . I have used mcon 6 and passall on but this
doesn't seem to be the solution. Can anybody suggest any other command
settings or any other solutions.
