Do you have any knowledge of PING?

I have been having great difficulty getting msg. to South Africa and maybe
other parts of the globe and although I haven't seen it for a while I use to
see calls sending PING and was told once that this was a way to test routes.

Is this correct??

Please tell me about PING or other ways to test routes or test to see if SP or
SB are getting through.

Ta and 73's to you
