Description:
BeyondPod is a free, open source, RSS feed reader and podcast manager
(podcatcher) for Microsoft Smartphone and Pocket PC.
Using BeyondPod you can subscribe for RSS feeds, read the feed content,
download and listen to associated podcasts (enclosures) directly on your mobile
device.
BeyondPod also provides a convenient way to play downloaded podcasts using a
built in media player with features like configurable "TiVo style" commercial
skip, tracking of played time, easy cleanup of played podcasts and many others.
BeyondPod requires an internet connection to download RSS feeds and podcasts.
If you don't have a data plan you can still use the podcast player
functionality built in BeyondPod.
Update Description:
v2.4.2:
- Changed the time limit in the time based space saver. Now you can keep
podcasts that are up to 9999 days old. The old limit of 99 days caused some
unexpected automatic deletion of old podcasts.
v2.4.1:
- Adds small enhancements to the Content View's right context menu and fixes 2
bugs: handling categories when importing OPML and cleaning up podcasts that
failed to download.
