Description:
Bandswitch is a little program for Windows Mobile. It's specially designed for
HTC devices with UMTS and HSDPA support but any PDA with GPRS is allowed.
If your device support UMTS it allows you to quickly switch between bands and
close idle connections.
Take control of your connections:
- Enable and disable connections. Disabling connections makes imposible to use
them so you know they wont generate traffic data.
- Stablish and close connections.
- Set a time frame where connections wont be allowed (ie, when you are
sleeping) saving money and battery.
In main screen you can:
- Switch to auto mode.
- Switch to GPRS mode.
- Switch to UMTS without time limit or for few minutes (5, 10, 30, 60, 120).
When the ellapse finishes the program will switch to GPRS again.
- Enter you SIM PIN so you wont have to enter it each time you switch the band.
- Close iddle connections. The program will close any connection that hasnt
data traffic in X seconds.
- There is a tray icon where you will the see the current state (GRPS, UMTS,
Auto) and It's used to bring front the panel.
