I think that all of the complainers about "CB" on packet should look
beyond the borders of their country to the countries where packet lives
happily on the CB bands.  I know in Some of the European countries that is
the case.  Packet is packet, whether on 145 Mhz, 25 Mhz or 27 Mhz.  Just
because big brother here in the US doesn't allow it on the CB bands does
not mean that other folks are so narrow minded.  In my estimation it would
be a VAST IMPROVEMENT over what is now on the "CRUD BAND" here in the USof
A.  I am a ham, been one for some time.  I have run packet here on the 2
meter and HF bands for over 15 years and still enjoy it.  No reason to
knock others that use other frequencies in their countries though.
