"UI-View32 will automatically open a connection to the switch and close
it when you close the program. Installation of the 32 bit version of BPQ
is currently not well documented, but it appears that BPQ32.DLL can go
in the Windows SYSTEM directory or in the application directory, but
BPQCFG.BIN needs to be in the application directory."

That's a quote from the UI-View32 help. (You create BPQCFG.BIN by
configuring BPQCFG.TXT as required, the running BPQCFG.EXE.)

It may well be possible to put BPQCFG.BIN somewhere other than in the
application directory, I never bothered to mess around with it enough to
find out.

I have used the 5100 and it works great!I don,t remember ever seeing=20
premade cables from anyone for the 5100.The directions for packet=20
cable
are in the manual.I also used it on 9600pbs but in was very poor
turnaround time on the packets to use it there.Hope that helps
