I am using the BP-1 with an AST 486 laptop ( win95) and I have tried an
HTX-202 HT, a HTX 212 Mobile. and a Yeasu FT-530 and am still having
difficulty getting the system to transmit. The wires are correct, and it
receives just fine, but when the computer says it is sending, the radios did
not transmit. I tried the tone test and there is no high or low tone at all,
the manual is of little help. any hints?
Also, i have installed it over 6 times, but when I enter Baycom, it displays
the G0xxx callsign, I even looked in the ssc.ini files, and it had my proper
call ,
???
Thanks
Sean

You may want to try this for a wiring hook-up. The guy that I
bought my BP-1 from had it wired this way for his radio. He had
some type of problem with his radio at first also, I can't be
sure that this will work.
Green - Speaker
Black - Ground
Yellow - Mic Input
He had the Green hooked up to the center pin for the speaker.
Black was hooked up to the ground lead on the mic plug and the
mic input to the center pin of the mic plug. The yellow wire was
also jumped over for the ground on the speaker.
Another thing is the Baycom People say that the TNC with their
software will not work in windows, you stated that you were
runnig under windows 95, have you tried to run under DOS? Just a
thougt before you do the rewiring discribed above. Also are you
running version 1.6 software?

Dr OM/(X)YL
domeinnaam.
De website is daardoor opvraagbaar via http://www.pi4kml.net en uiteraard
ook nog via de (oude) gebruikelijke URI http://www.qsl.net/pi4kml
Graag tot ziens op de site !!

Subject: WINFBB and BPQ32 help?
Hi, I am trying to run the winFBB V7.00 software on my P200 , but the
FBB never can see the switch. I have tried loading the 32bit BPQ and
the older BPQCODE TSR switch, but no good. FBB always gives up on
finding the driver (BPQ). Even in the same directory etc - no good. I
can run BPQCODE and DOS FBB7 in a window under windows 95, or even in
real DOS with no problems. What is the problem with winFBB and BPQ???
Any help very much appreciated...
Steve
