I apologize if I was a little harsh Tommy. It's just that your
post read a little harsh to me. Perhaps you didn't mean it that
way.
It's just I get a little tiring when people suggest since it
works on their system so it must work on mine else I doing it
wrong. I might be making a mistake but I've checked everything I
can. AGW is still not working well. Flex does, but I can't find
APRS to work with it.
No one has answered my call for a working APRS with (SOUNDCARD)
FLexNet. I guess it's not available.

P.S. I understand you probably have not had the chance to read
my perils and successes as posted in this group.

I think you'll have to wait until someone writes a freeware APRS
application that supports Flexnet. I was intending to support Flexnet in
UI-View, but I've been told today that the Flexnet team will only allow
it to be used by freeware programs.

That's sad. That's a good point though. Thank you. Funny how
WinPack program does AGW (poorly for me maybe not for you) *and*
FlexNet (via TFEMU).
After all the soundcard trouble, now there's a lack of software
for it? Hummmmmm?
Let's see, maybe I need to back up to my posts that say
soundcard packet is not ready for prime time. Hey, if I wanted
to spend money on this I'd go high speed packet. This has
untimately been an experiment for me. I do hope high speed
packet prevails. There is that interesting post about modifing
wireless net cards. That may be my next project.
The problem is, one needs to go where others are (or blaze the
trail). Thus my curiosity about APRS. Mapping doesn't thrill me.
Communication does. Benefits do. In the end and after all the
newness and self-made project fun fades; it would be nice to
have a benefit. If this were not a hobby, I would *require* a
benefit first. As it is, I attempt to learn and share the
results. I have in the end, a notebook and VX-1r reliably doing
BBS/OSO's (WinPack by Soundcard FlexNet((TFEMU)) with my combo
PTT and HT(PTT) circuit.
