Subject: Kantronics 9612 for APRS????

I got a used 9612 this weekend. I would like to try it in the dual
port mode, but in a different way.

I need a radio on one port, but want to know if anyone has used
the other radio port to feed in a GPS input. I had thought about
a special dual com port cable, or getting a Pico Packet instead.
Then I saw this unit at an estate sale and picked it up.

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks in advance!
