Anyone out there know if the heath hk-21 pocket packet can be upgraded
to another tnc's rom like the pico packet rom?

Any help would be appreciated.

You could try RELAY,WIDEx-x. Substitute the number of digis you want to
go through for the x-x. eg. 3-3 will digi through the next 3 digis after
a relay digipeats it.  If you can hit the 1st digi without any problems,
then just use WIDEx-x.  RELAY is just used because all home stations
should have an alias of RELAY and will digipeat to the  WIDE digi if
mobiles or hh rigs can't hit it.

Subject: Packet with Icom IC-2350

Dear packet users:

I need the following information for a local Ham that has a
dual band Icom IC-2350:

He bought the Icon used without manual, and want do know 
if the transceiver will work at 9600 Baud in UHF and if 
there is a data input connector ready for this purpose 
or will be necessary direct connection to the varicap and discriminator. He
said there is no mods for this radio at 
the local packet BBS. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes flexnet.
Use flexnet as packetdirver and a terminal like winpack or what ever.
