Subject: need firmware upgrade for kpc9612

I have a kpc-9612 with old firmware. I'd like to get the latest firmware
for it. Will that make it into a kpc-9612plus? What I need to accomplish
is to make my tnc support APRS. I have access to an EPROM burner so all I
need is the firmware file e-mailed to me or I may just purchase an EPROM
with the latest firmware from someone if the price is right. If you can
help me, please e-mail me at the following address:
    kk7av@vitrex.net
Thanks in advance.

        Rob

Subject: WTB: TNC for Icom IC-T7A ?

Please email me if you have info on how to make a TNC or have one for
sale, or know where to get one.
What I'm trying to do (is it even possible ?) is to connect the TNC into
my handheld, and then into my Garmin 12CX GPS and receive the DGPS
signal off of 144.39MHz (APRS's DGPS freq.). My GPS will except DGPS
corrections, "DGPS Ready", just add a receiver.
So is this 'Do-able' ? Or too good to be true ?
