I am trying to set up for packet on 2 meter. KPC3 with 8.3 firmware and
a Kenwood 241a.
Problem is the wiring from tnc to radio. From the KPC manual and a few
packet web sites the wiring is correct. But when the tnc is connected to
the radio the radio is in Transmit with nothing showing the tnc in
transmit.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks Cliff

Check for a solder bridge at the connectors. On the radio side, especially
check pins 2 & 8.
