On usenet people like Charles have always been known as Trolls. I was

P.P.S. To reply to your post about packet activity it seems like all there
is up here in northwestern lower Michigan is BBS's.
There's hardly anybody using packet to just talk anymore.

Muscle Shoals, Alabama. October 25, 1999: Creative Services Software has
announced that Pacterm '98 and PKTerm '99 release 1.4 will be available in
November 1999. This release is a FREE upgrade for owners of the current
product.
The program runs under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and the soon to be
released Windows 2000. It is a true 32-bit Windows application, designed
using the Windows Style Guidelines available from Microsoft.
The popular TNC program, written in C++, has been available since November,
1997. It supports Multistream Packet each in its own window and all HF
modes, user defined macros, user defined colors and fonts, CD callbooks,
COM1 through COM35 (including select USB to serial port converters), Quick
Connects, save session in RTF or TXT format and much, much more.
New enhancements for version 1.4 include:
· {UTCDATE} Macro Variable
· ASCII transfer for UNPROTO mode in Packet
· Multiple file select for ASCII transfers in HF modes
· Abort ASCII now available from HF modes
· Interoperability with DX4Win 4.06 logging program
· Basic radio control interface
· Added FIG/NUMS menu option in PKTerm
· Additional commands specific for the PK-900 and DSP-2232 in PkTerm
Pacterm '98 and PKTerm '99 are $79.95. They are available directly from
Creative Services Software or your favorite dealer. Pk-Term '99 is also
available directly from Timewave Technology. You can also download the
program in demo mode from the CSS website.

Het belletje van de DX cluster duurt minstens 1 seconde en is erg
storend.
Iemand enig idee hoe dat in te stellen is, ik kan het wel uitzetten
maar dat hoeft ook weer niet.
