I really do not know how to talk about this all. For the longest time I have
been on the helping side of people that needed help. I was always taught "what
you do for others will come back to you". Well I am finding that it is my turn
to be on the down side.
I am not really looking for handouts unless you find it in yourself to want
to give one. But I am asking for help from anyone that can. But, I can offer
my service in exchange for some pay. I do web design. Lately I have found that
there are just so many people out there that do the same thing.
I have my own business that I run, building computers, repairing them and
doing web design and site hosting. But, with some of the larger companies out
there making offers to give away computers and making them so cheap, well, you
know the story. Over the last several months my business feel to nothing. I
could not compete with the prices. My money, it slowly has dwindled down to
nothing.
I can tell you all my personal sad story about how I am a single father with
my son living with me and how we do go get help when we really need it.
I have never tried to take from anyone though, I had an operation on my foot
when I was 12 and now at 37 I can hardly walk because of it. My back is
deteriorating and giving me problems because of my foot and other health
issues. I just wanted to get that out before some of you start to wonder why I
just do not get a job. It is not all that simple.
There are not a lot of companies that want to hire a person with back health
issues. They do not care if you never sued anyone. They want to make sure you
do not start with them. Some people may say, well go get on SSI or some other
government assistance. I could, but first it would take a while. And then,
what happens when business starts to come in? Oh, and the government wants to
know if you have been working. Not only all that, but I just do not want to
depend on that.
As I said. I am not really looking for handouts, I will not turn down any
either, not at this point. But I would be willing to build some sites for some
money. I have my own domain that I would be willing to put a site under. Or I
am sure we could work out a monthly fee for housing your domain if you wanted.
