$150 is a bit expensive for a 386..even if its a laptop. How about selling it
for $50?(to tell you the truth its not even worth $50 bucks)

The guy said 150 bucks, obo. (Or best offer)

My theory is that your offer of 50 bucks will not buy you the laptop. I've
seen several 386 laptops in the DFW area recently going for 100 bucks+, so
don't hold your breath hoping that 50 bucks will be the best offer.

Dennis,

Since APRS requires total control of the TNC, it wont be possible. Also, the
KAM only supports 300 baud packet on the HF port.

You best bet might be to use the KAM for the DX Cluster with Pacterm '98 and
then get a KPC-3 , Timewave PK-12 or MFJ 1270 to do the APRS functionality.
You'd only need another COMM port to do that.

Pacterm 98 and PKterm '99 are $79.95 and are available from your favorite
amateur dealer or directly from CSS.

You can download the software from http://www.cssincorp.com and once the
activation key is purchased, you'll have access to the program.
