Here ya go,

This image will help identify the pins on the KW data cable.

http://www.packetradio.com/trad/mfj96kw.gif - This will explain the V7A
side of things

And to connect it to the KPC3+, this is what I made up - works great.

  KPC's DB9 KW 'Mini-DIN'

Pin 1 Data Out Pin 1
  Pin 3 PTT Pin 3
  Pin 5 Data In Pin 5 for 1200bps, Pin 4 for 9k6
Pin 6 PTT grnd Pin 2
Pin 9 AF grnd Pin 2

On mine, I just connected the DB9 Pin 6 to the Mini-DIN Pin 2 and left the DB9
Pin 9 open.

http://www.packetradio.com/ is a great source for pin outs and other packet
information.

There is no official mirror for the Flexnet site, though a few unofficial
ones do exist. I have never had any trouble downloading from the FlexNet web
site, but there have been times when I could not connect to that site, and
it was down for a day or two.

What files are you looking for?

For 2k4 bps can you use a ordinary tcm3105 bycom modem, just replace the
crystal.
