Anyone using the TH-D7A with a laptop running WinAPRS. I need some advice
on how to get it to work. The setup works fine on packet using the Hyper
Terminal program, but can't get it to send or receive on APRS????

Sounds like you are on the right track. Do you have the latest version
V2.2.8. This version has the option for the Kenwood DC (Digital
Communicator).
For the software configuration try these.
Under Settings TNC set TNC to Kenwood DC (Make sure the Receive Only is
NOT set)
Set Serial Port of VHF to the proper serial port
Open VHF TNC
Then try Send Position. Does this work?
Are you receiving any stations?
