Just giving the answers for the Bloomington, IN area.

Repeaters are frequently run by clubs or individuals willing to put in the
money and effort to purchase and install them.

Some repeaters have battery backup systems. Others do not.

I would like to use a Tandy Model 200/100 (I have both) as a small
packet station for field day. Has anyone ever used this computer for
this? If you have, could you please give me some assistance in using
it? I have tried a few things with no success. I am attaching it to a
PK88. Thanks for the help!

Does anyone have any Motorola MC80 UHF T band for sale or swap preferably
with a 25kcs filter, or does anyone know of a source of the beasts.

I am after 2 for use on 70cms 9k6 packet and I'm told these are the dogs
danglers for this mode but an alternative is apparently the Storno CQM5662.

Have tried all the usual dealer sources but any known sources, offers or
prices will be welcome to All@nationwideisp.net please.

Thanks

Steve

Hello Mark, I used one for portable use for some time. It works great for
general chatting, and checking short mail msgs. It runs from AA batteries, or
an AC adapter. It will run for some time on the AA's, as opposed to a few
hours
for the new laptops. I still have one sitting in the case, "just in case"...

There are several programs now that do this. The best is FlexNet.

Here's the FlexNet home page:

And even more information on FlexNet is available at my page, listed below:
